The Western world is one of the most recognizable and influential figures in art history. In just over a decade he produced about 2100 paintings and drawings, including 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. Among them are landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are distinguished by bold colors and their vibrant, impulsive and expressive brushstrokes, which are considered the foundations of modern art. At the age of 37, after years of psychological illness and poverty, he passed away a few days after being wounded by a gun as a result of suicide, according to some, a murder.

Pablo Picasso, with his full name (October 25, 1881 – April 8, 1973), Spanish painter and sculptor. It is one of the best known names of 20th century art. He laid the foundations of the cubism movement with Georges Braque. Picasso, one of the first to come to mind when talking about painting art all over the world, was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain. His full name is Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso. He started painting at a young age with the influence of his father, who is a painter and also an art teacher. He entered the Fine Arts School in 1895. He started using Picasso, his mother’s surname, in 1901. His works were published in the Spanish magazine Juventut.
